Just Breathe
Take a breath.
Slowly.
Fill your lungs
With the sweet air of dew-burnished petals
As the swelling morning sun
Bulges against the bursting tethers of
A dark horizon.
Take a breath.
Quicker now.
Turn your eyes
To the newborn clouds
That gently mist the warming sky
From their lamblike lungs.
Take a breath.
Hurry up!
Spread your fingers
Wide like the screeching falcon,
Diving in the light of the
Blazing sun.
Take a breath.
Now!
Lift your voice,
Sing a wild song
To the beauty of the
Dew-kissed
Cloud-wrapped
Sun-drenched
Earth.
Slowly.
Fill your lungs
With the sweet air of dew-burnished petals
As the swelling morning sun
Bulges against the bursting tethers of
A dark horizon.
Take a breath.
Quicker now.
Turn your eyes
To the newborn clouds
That gently mist the warming sky
From their lamblike lungs.
Take a breath.
Hurry up!
Spread your fingers
Wide like the screeching falcon,
Diving in the light of the
Blazing sun.
Take a breath.
Now!
Lift your voice,
Sing a wild song
To the beauty of the
Dew-kissed
Cloud-wrapped
Sun-drenched
Earth.
