Memoirs of a geezer: days of the dragon
It wasn't til I'd woken up
that the magnitude
of the conversation hit me
the local unit of flag-munchers
wanted to talk
on my own, at night, meet a car
it'll take me to a house.
great stuff

Poetry, Drugs and Sobriety. . .a dangerous combination but make for a perfect poem. Excellent, Eamonn. Enjoyed. . .Devlin.

Sounds like a quick intro to the start of an action packed film. And I can hear all the kids in some background scene shouting "don't go, Mr. Lep! It's a trap!
Nice drop, Craic. I love how the reader can add as much depth to this piece as they like. Your way with brevity juxtaposed with potency is a true inspiration to me and I learn a lot from your work. Thanks for that and love and light to you and the family :)

like the way you draw the reader in and then make him/her fill out the cracks to give the poem a full meaning
the title is very catchy, like a move name

cheers, Jazzman
I took the title from Memoirs of a Geisha. days of the dragon is self explanatory
had to be short or else it'd lose the small bit of tension it builds
thanks for the drop-by, good fellow
