Rise Above (With DeathnoteWhovian)
Their words can be like daggers, the damage all too real.
However there is no cut on my body that is unable to heal.
Through the will of my own, and deafness to their taunts. Who are they to judge me?
I'll silence them, those whores.
Like a bitch once said “would be better if you’re gone”.
Might be best, but I’m a bit selfish, kind of a prick,
So watch as I take this life and make it all mine.
Bullies will always try to bring me down.
I will stand strong because I’m comfortable being stubborn.
What would sting more, a slap or a dig?
On my beliefs and morals,
On my work ethic and my commitment,
On my celebrations and my failures.
Been told that I’m a child;
I don’t know better, I must be a liar.
Showed my love to traders that hurt me,
Fought back and they made me out to be a monster.
Now I sit back and laugh at what fools these people really are.
Before now I would plan to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to their bullshit and actions. I'd rather not return the judgment, though now I’ve been drove to this, from those heartless bitches, watch me as I rise above them.
Stuck in stars till I come down spiral from haters.
When they see me falling they make a wish;
Maybe it will come true, or maybe I’ll just keep on burning bright,
While their yearning for my utter death.
They can’t win, so they just run with their tails between their legs.
They're not strong enough to hold me down, though naturally they'll try.
Their taunts have less control on me, I'll be free amongst the sky.
A warrior to my beliefs, and no one else's vision.
I can’t be manipulated to play games with over grown children.
Not holding anger; no, this is my release. More like feeling sorry for their sad attempts to hurt me
The star that burns the brightest, engulfed in its own beauty. You'll recognize that sight, for that nocturnal being is me.
They attempted to put me out, though I rose above, burning their lies and basking in their cries.
However there is no cut on my body that is unable to heal.
Through the will of my own, and deafness to their taunts. Who are they to judge me?
I'll silence them, those whores.
