Satisfying my animal instincts.
Today I'm the hunter
Possessing everything I want.
Today my will shall be done
I'm the most powerful god.
Today I was what I'll be tomorrow
Consumed by life
I'll be what I always was:
Only a human.

An interesting piece. Perhaps the idea could be expanded upon, though I do like the brevity. Quick spelling: "human" in the final line.
