Hold onto that someone and care,

Feel my lips on yours,
and forget your troubles.
Hold onto that someone without a care,
deep in your beautiful world.
Listen to his words,
every syllable.
Hold onto the truth he speaks
deep in my fragmented world.
Listen to his words,
as he talks me off the ledge.

Feel my arms around you,
as my tears start to fall.
Happiness and anger,
consumes me all.
Feel my sighs of relief,
as I look into your eyes.
Happiness and anger,
battling the lies.

As I question,
where he’s been all my life.

As he says them again,
and turns the color of my cheeks.
They both embrace,
in harmony.
As tears fall down their face,
blissfully.

but traffic changed my mind,
A broken light saved a broken girl,
