No safe haven for me...

There was once a place that I could express myself freely without fear of judgment or group conversations regarding it.

There once was a time when one or two trusted souls would wander onto my work, leave a comment and not speak about it in person - as was preferred.

Given the topic I would allow even strangers to speak to me regarding my guarded words - but no opinion is dearer than a selected few.

My poems are that of expression not attention.

My preferences are that of insecurity not a lack of trust.

My distance is a fear of judgment not a negative emotion.

No offence should be taken
But I no longer have my safe haven.
