Aria
She sings opera when she comes
Shattering the champagne flutes
Her aria rising to the rafters
The chandelier threatening to explode
Her voice modulates to a moan
Then velvet silence
That lovely mouth voyages south
Those lips enclose a cherished fan
And I become Pavarotti...

You start singing crazy high notes for a dude? Or you're dead? Wow. ;)
I love that man's voice. I cried when he passed.

This is a lady who is afraid to vocally express herself. Hahaha. Cracked me up.

re: Re: Aria
I'll have to take another look at "The Cook." Can't remember the husband, but I sure recall Helen Mirren. One of the sexiest and most talented actresses that ever lived. And director Peter Greenaway always had quite a distinctive vision, artistic and crazed at the same time. I'm really glad you enjoyed my sound effects, Schiitaryn! Maybe I'll pass my orals...

I took a look at the pic, and I don't recognize the actor. But he's got Helen Mirren on his right and Tim Roth on his left, so he's in good company. If you want to see something truly outrageous watch Greenaway's "The Baby of Macon" with Ralph Fiennes. I caught it on Youtube, so I'm not sure if it's still available. They often yank movies due to copyright violations. Thanks for the link!

Thanks McJay. The silence offers a respite, however brief, from the soaring vocals.
