Malevolence; unknown Sunday afternoon

Malevolence; unknown Sunday afternoon.

my heart was in the world searching for action,
or recycled cheap thrills. I came across a distant land,
no one seeking shelter, the perfect paradise for my melancholic being.
"Stay awhile my friends" was the voice I heard piercing my pompous brain.
I studied the echos; I found the light.
I can now see my purpose plain as day.
It's the type of path you forge with both eyes wide open.
It's the road less-traveled revisited.
Stamp your letter with pride, wipe away your fears
& don't ever look back, my friend.
