The Love We Have
As the music, “Here comes the bride,” begins,
I smile, like everyone else, anticipating—
And with a wonderful glow
On your beautiful face,
Your father walks you down the aisle to me,
Just like God did when He brought Eve to Adam.
God said that when I find a woman
And she becomes my wife
I will find something very good
And get favor from Him;
But I never knew, until I met you.
How difficult it would be
To find such a wonderful woman.
Now that I’ve found you
I realize how precious you are
Far more than silver, gold or valuable treasure.
And as you become my bride
Know deep in your soul,
That I love you.
So come my forever love
And let our two lives create the future
For the love we have
Is God's beautiful
Miracle that happened in our heart.
