Weathered
The body
is able,
But the spirit
is broken
Unable
to withstand
the beatings
endured in years
of development
Choking back
the bile from
an ulcerated stomach
another side-effect
of a chemical existence
Gray hairs,
fine lines,
and dark rings
tell the story
of a worried,
weary man
aged beyond
the concrete years
Crippled with indecision
he spends his days
worrying about "what if"
so he simply never does

I totally get this and relate to the feelings u describe. What if can be such a hold back, but also it can lead us into a fucking labyrinth..hard times in the mind. I'm with u buddy, feeling this deeply
