Something I struggle with all the time.
I loved my mother greatly, but she could be a difficult person. When I try to reminisce on her good, I'm always haunted by memories of what was not.
And then I ask myself. "is it that I need to forgive, or, that I need to ask for forgiveness?"

Thx for sharing your emotions. I can understand. But we need to learn to appreciate the good no matter how hard it is to get filtered from the immensity of bad.
