Imperfect
Lonely and cold
Trying to find myself.
Who am I?
And who can I be?
All efforts go to waste
Every time I've tried
Where every try was a fail,
And I've only learned to fall.
All these years,
Facing an agony
Of lonely sufferings,
Torturing beatings,
False accusations,
And harsh misunderstandings.
I've learned nothing,
But the coldness of the world;
So I am nothing,
But an empty soul from so much hurt.
Still I try...
Oh God I try so hard!
I take in every punch,
I bruise, and I bleed!
I suffer to find something
That can fill my empty soul.
One skill I just need,
One experience,
One thought,
One appreciation...
Something to help per-fect
Such an imperfect life.
Trying to find myself.
Who am I?
And who can I be?
All efforts go to waste
Every time I've tried
Where every try was a fail,
And I've only learned to fall.
All these years,
Facing an agony
Of lonely sufferings,
Torturing beatings,
False accusations,
And harsh misunderstandings.
I've learned nothing,
But the coldness of the world;
So I am nothing,
But an empty soul from so much hurt.
Still I try...
Oh God I try so hard!
I take in every punch,
I bruise, and I bleed!
I suffer to find something
That can fill my empty soul.
One skill I just need,
One experience,
One thought,
One appreciation...
Something to help per-fect
Such an imperfect life.
