This has been an interesting time
Finding myself with you entwined

Thought she knew what you and I had
She did, but then got quite mad

I tried to be open from the start
Didn't know something was going to spark

Now I've spent a week trying to mend
A brief encounter so soon to end

It looks like we three can continue
Being just friends without a menu
