Knowing
If in the same room
There would be no need for words
We would just know
Our eyes saying it all
Reading eachother's thoughts
Lingering passions shared by two
Long stem wishes
Satin sheet dreams
Counting stars out my bedroom window
A certain satisfaction in knowing
They are the twinkling diamonds
Watching over you as well
This is an ode to you
My all knowing lover
Sleep well tonight Sir knowing
No man has touched as you have
There would be no need for words
We would just know
Our eyes saying it all
Reading eachother's thoughts
Lingering passions shared by two
Long stem wishes
Satin sheet dreams
Counting stars out my bedroom window
A certain satisfaction in knowing
They are the twinkling diamonds
Watching over you as well
This is an ode to you
My all knowing lover
Sleep well tonight Sir knowing
No man has touched as you have

Satin sheet dreams" evokes such delicious images of hoped for events. The stars as a cosmic unifier of souls is a beautiful idea. Bravisima bella poeta!

This is incredibly beautiful. "Sleep well tonight Sir knowing/No man has touched as you have" is the perfect goodnight.

Trapped into the empty Grey eyes
Emotionless escape
Into the bindings
Of feeling that obey

"No man has touched as you have" - can have more than one meaning in such an evocative poem.

Belle,
A beautifully written ode! Loved your line:
"There would be no need for words"
for passion is it's own language, spoken silently by lovers.
Enjoyed!

Our sexuality is more than just the physical
The meeting of two minds is sexier than any naked body to me.

I do love this poem of yours so much, Belle! It is very warm and filled with your trademark sensuality, but it is tender and loving first and foremost, which appeals to the romantic in me quite strongly. My favorite section is this:
"Counting stars out my bedroom window
A certain satisfaction in knowing
They are the twinkling diamonds
Watching over you as well"
That conjures such beautiful images in my mind, of stars, and warmth, and love, that it makes me swoon with how amazing your verses are! Great work, fantastic poetry. :D
