Somewhat Amused
She's looking languid, my muse
My soul inspiration these days
Perched in all her splendor on my bed
Her skin gleaming in the morning light
I approach, my desire rising, expectant
"Not quite yet, hun," she chuckles
"Write a few more lines
Some tribute to yours truly."
I do oblige, my fervor growing further
Glancing at her as I scribble away
Anticipating the pleasure of her embrace
And that heaven in her smile.
