He wanted to forget the past but it comes back to haunt him
they let go of what happened but their brains lets them relive him
She doesn't want to see his ghost but he keeps her in his prison
Light dwindling above their halo they see it but can't reach it and let this go
She looks at him and he looks at you your souls touch and he sees through
you pretend you see him too not to let go of this enigma you fell in to
You never thought this would happen cause right now it has stricken blue
drifting in this timeless aridity you could have dodged the bullet by telling the reality
the superficial can't conquer the deep like the husband and the harlot  
 you didn't want to tell him which one you were lying to him your his forever truth
but it was hurtful more when you opened the door and you saw his truth
and knowing he felt the same all along
And that made things lighter that this was it for you two
But it felt better when you thought you were the only one who didn't feel the glue
karma really is a dog's child coming straight at you with a vicious canine teeth
Just give her meat and let it be.
