Lord how crazy.
Is this life
I recite
These words
That I write
Every night
I pray I do the right..
things
and choose the correct decision
Cus life needs precision
I'm opening up right now like an incision
I got this vision
In my mind
Let's unwind
Let's both find
A peace of mind
I'm trying hard to decide
What is wrong
what is right
It's so nice
Yes sometimes..
I think about the past
And I really get so sad.,
I really miss my dad

I was only 14
Barely a teen
After that he got sentenced
And it was something I couldn't even believe
How can this be happening to me.

Fast forward to 15 ,
With the homies
Chilling, talking shit, vibing, toking green
Feeling good and then I got into poetry
Writing all my thoughts and feelings
Moments I spent alone with my head spinning like the fan in the ceiling
but I kept revealing what I was feeling
Onto these pages..
Life became outrageous.
But like a man
I held myself down
and prevailed.,
through each storm.,
I sailed.
I've passed
And I've failed
Never gave up
Cus I got a heart of steel.

It was the struggle that taught me the things I know today.
It was depression that made me strong today.
It was faith that brought me here today.
It was God who helped me through the pain.
Sheltered me in the rain.
Taught me that no matter how much u lose.
You'll always have room to gain.
