Eternal Ecstasy
The body is only a vehicle
To carry your brain(mind)around in.
So vehicles like cars, planes
Are an extension of the body.
We have more than one body, you could say,
According to the need and the environment.
Likewise with the brain/mind.
Computers are an extension of the human mind.
So we have more than just one mind.
Thru the internet each of us can hook up
With the collective mind of all mankind.
If this collective of humanity's knowledge
Can be thought of as a superhuman mind,
(Just as a man possessing the strength
Of all mankind would be considered superhuman),
It's as if we have (or will have in the future)
Access to the mind of God.
This state where you retain your own identity
but are united with the minds of everyone else,
Doesn't that sound like what Heaven is supposed to be?
For there "the Bride," the Church(Revelation 22.17),
Is to be united with Christ, the "Husband"(Ephesians 5.31-32)
In, by implication, endless (nonsexual) intercourse.
No wonder heaven is called a place of Bliss,
Even Eternal Ecstasy.
(It may be that the union is with EACH OTHER.)
PS:Our computers connected by the Internet today
is a picture of how our minds will be connected
in the hereafter by "the Spirit").

Thanks for your affirmative comment.But the church in the USA will suffer the fate that Christ described for the "worthless" salt that "loses its savor." It gets "trampled under foot of men." A 50% survival rate after nuclear war is pointed to when Christ says, "one will be taken, the other one will be left."(Luke 17.34-37). Half a loaf is better than none. 150 million is plenty of people with which to rebuild the nation.

This is so true and often unnoted by those with which we choose to surround ourselves. Our society frowns upon the use of internet yet dive and indulge themselves. It is a tool of harmony and grace and creative opening, yet also destructive. All is part of the growing and changing. All is part of all.

Yes, the net can be destructive.But after the Second Coming it will be cleaned up. With the radical Moslems calling the West "decadent," godless, etc i can't believe Pres. Bush and Ashcroft, Att. General, didn't use that as a good excuse for banning porn on the net and elsewhere - as a response to the national security threat posed by the terrorists. I mean, if porn etc makes them feel justified in killing us, well take that reason away from them.By banning porn. If necessary declare (partial) martial law.
