there's a lot that I should say
but I've not a lot to say.
there's a lot that I wish to show
but there's not enough to show.
whatever I may leave out,
and lie about
isn't because I fear them,
it's because I fear them less
than I fear you.
I may think I like you,
but such feelings are oft
misconstrued.
I may think to leave it be
but your charms will still
outwit me.
