the insights of this self sacrifice/condemnation are front and center, also works on a deeper level as a comment on each of us in some way or another, lots of hard earned violent and deep thinking wisdom (squandered you seem to mostly claim)hidden in your variously hammered in the forge and/or free range poetic screed, calling you troubled is like the night calling the inside of a cave black but you are a talented writer for whatever grace that affords the disaster of existence

isn't it "trouble" that defines a perseverant lil something inside?  
 
you can't control what happens  
 
you control how you deal with it  
 
can only manipulate 50% of reality  
 
there are places for fathers,white picket providers,mothers,child bearers,dish doers, etc..  
defining a specific set of coordinates,  
at certain spots in the elastic  
 
others for the philosophers,wanderers,software guys who wake up dreaming in code,junkies,seekers......  
 
can't be all,  
all at once...  
 
you call it dark and a disaster...i call it training and negative cosmic temperance.....
