for the tall dark duke

the first thing i have to say,
seeing you makes my day.
emeralds are green and so are your eyes,
lighting up the evening skies.

your hair so curly it wraps around thee,
it's also as dark as the black sea.
your voice so deep and so calm,
i know inside you mean no harm.

i love your cheeking smile and grin,
i love your laugh that shall never dim.

your down to earth and perfect it's true,
that it why i wrote this poem just for you.
