Asphyxiation
Triggered fixation
Things I don't want to mention
But I'll mention anyway

A rope
Or a belt
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

Sleeping pills
Or lithium tablets
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

A blade
Or a knife
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

A cliff
Or a building
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

A car
Or a bus
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

A lake
Or a sea
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

Burned
Or buried under
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

Worm feed
Or daffodils fertilizer
Who cares anyway?
I'm dead

I'm dead!
But I won't care anyway
I'm already dead
Before my death...

your sarcasm seems harsh, in light of recent tragic events. in the end, your point is well made. you took your poem as far as you wanted to, not offering any further debate...

Well, I know it sounds harsh, but these are my actual thoughts about MYSELF triggered by recent tragic events. I, too, am a sufferer of clinical depression. I am so saddened by these events. Peter Pan and John Keating were heroes to me... :( This poem is about NO other person but ME. Sorry if it comes off the wrong way to some... Perhaps I should change it to "I'm dead".
