Racial feelings are so strong
To human race we all belong
Hate over colour is so wrong
Around peace symbol let us throng
As we sing a peaceful song
Come sing it all day long

Yes Belle...love thy neighbour as thy self is the second greatest commandment..."Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind and with all thy strength; this is the first commandment and the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." Lady Peninnah...thank you for taking the time to read and comment...I am caucasian but I have many true friends of various racial and ethnic backgrounds and I do not see colour but embrace all of my friends and it infuriates me when I think of the wasted energies and efforts expended in promoting hatred because of the colour pigment of someone's skin...we have all been created in the image of God...please be safe and well...thanks and take care...Jimbo...I must go and search out some of your poetry because your comment has intrigued me!!!

Thank you so much Miss Kate...they are going to open the multi-million dollar National Museum for Human Rights here in Winnipeg, Manitoba...it is the first national museum to be located outside of the Capital Region of Ottawa...and I'm thinking that we don't need museums to promote human rights all we need to do to promote the concept of RESPECT and if we respected others and got along like we were created to do human rights would be a natural progression...please be save and well...thanks and take care...Me
