Black Roses and a Bleeding Heart
Whirlwind romance
Met completely by chance
He filled her head
With pretty little lies
She gifted him
With love everlasting
Offered to have the child
He proclaimed to desperately want
His circumstances changed
Hit a small bump
In the road he normally traveled
He blocked her out
Chewed up and spit
Her gifts in her face
Her pain of no consequence
Only in tune with his
He left her with two gifts
Wrapped up with a bow
A dozen thorny black roses
And a broken bleeding heart
