Whether I hate or love to watch you absorb emotion

I'm smiling as I reflect
It's quite an amazing thing to see
Even better to be a part of
And I'm grateful when I'm able to be

Sometimes I want to help guide it into your lungs
So you can breathe it in easier, deeply, slowly
You know, like when it hurts
I want to assure you that it will be okay, and you can do this
And when you're scared I want to do much the same
Because you shouldn't have to do it alone
Other times I love to see you relish in it
And just observe as it consumes you
Because you deserve to feel that good
And nothing's sweeter than your smile
Mainly because I have this feeling
That you just don't do it enough
So when your face lights up, it's special
I want you to feel as much happiness as you can handle
Maybe even a bit more, just so you know what it's like
To be that crazy with uncontrollable excitement
Unstoppable and delighted beyond belief

So don't feel apprehensive
Just go with the feeling
You never know where it could take you
I never know where it'll take me either
But the ride is so much fun
Sometimes random destinations are just what we need
Nothing like a refreshed state of mind
New places, different experiences, opportunities to learn
