Confucius and Rumi
Confucius and Rumi:
My soul fell in love this morning,
with two men
One made the beating heart, in my chest,
happy
Another touched my troubled, and lonely mind
I’m not lonely
Comforted by their life,
I remember how, I should live mine
I could only show them love
the only way I know how
with my passion for life
Maybe thats why they are gone
There’s, would be, as deep as mine
Like whispers in the wind, I heard your voices,
I did not know your name; I never was good at remembering
Scholars told me, but I was too young to care
I wish I looked them in the eye, and listened to every word
I would never, had to have fought, my way to be here
where I have always been, I guess that is the beauty, of the circle
you end up where you are, with understanding, purpose,
It is true, I am in love with you and
I forgot who I was
Bumping into you, remembering, who I am
I can hunt; I never back out of a fight, to the death
that’s what I was taught, if there is no blood you lost,
I fight to win, or die with pride
I can give it all away, these are just things anyway,
nothing that makes me happy
I look, I see, I touch, I feel,
I smell, I taste, I hear, and silently I think
I could conquer this, to give it all away
why not, it never made me happy
there just things, anybody can obtain
But this circle
the purpose
my mind
my heart
my soul
joined with you, makes the significance
My soul, fell in love this morning,
with two men
One made the beating heart in my chest,
happy
Another touched my troubled and lonely mind
I am not so lonely
Comforted by their life,
I remember how to live
I could only show them love
the only way, I know how
with passion
Maybe thats why, they are gone
There’s would be equal, to mine
