Cell Phone
I remember once when we were human, riding bikes across streets, playing hide go seek, memorizing addresses without dot com added to the end of them, see I remember when we were still human, when 69 wasnt a sex position but a way to call someone back, when VHS and tape decks had to be rewound, when you actually talked to chicks and delivered a message that wasnt signaled in their inbox, see I remember when we were human, but what we are now are just technologically sound with microchips for brains, and fingers that serve as cars traveling long distances over keyboards, these are our new versions of family trips as skype has taken the place of walking two blocks to grandmas house, see as time passed we became bored with one on one interaction and replaced it with AOL telling us we got mail, and we eventually combined 5 instruments in one to become our cell phones, cause now our life is our cell phone, we die for our cell phones, we cant exist without our cell phones, I mean we will turn the car all the way around to head back to the house for our cell phones, men, when we cant find our phones we scramble like quaterbacks cause if your woman calls a few of those numbers back all hell will break loose, women, you dont feel beautiful anymore on your inside, so you take 500 selfies, post em on the web and hope those on those outside hit like, see this cell phone is something in the shape of a small box that reminds me of the box technology has encased us in, see I used write complaints to governors with a pen, but now I hit send on sex tapes and hood fights to world star and YouTube, all this from my cellular, I even have the choice to pick from different carriers, the same way humans choose to carry different diseases, so I guess when our phones catch a virus we are so close to it that it makes us sick as well, I wont be surprised if the abnormal chips in my pocket phone cause me to get sickle cell, so thats why I refuse the ESPN app cause the minute I download that, i may catch HIV like Magic or Cancer like Walter, all because I am this close with my cell phone, and the funny thing about phones is that they told us more about us thru their designs, we had brick phones round the same time we had hardened minds, we had flip phones when we were unsure about our mindsets, now we have I phones to show we are only concerned about I, cause we dont want to look eye to eye, its much easier to send that rant thru text or simply wifi, and I hate wifi, so I'll remove the W and the last I and go back to if, What if we never had these cell phones, what if conversation with a person was still face to face, what if humans didn't become computers and computers didn't start acting more human than people, cause twenty years ago I memorized all my contacts, now I lose my phone I know no ones number by heart, so that shows you that our heart beats with a bar code, a battery and serial number attached to it, I'm just waiting for my surgery to get a charger slot embedded in my back to be plugged up when I am low on life, because a cell phone has taken over all of our lives, so just imagine the destruction that will occur, when we all go out of service
