Learning to Accept
Here I sit
in my childhood skin
overgrown in my undies and too thin chin
drunk again
Numbing my brain
is my only refrain
the moment I realize there's no light
blot out the night!
Really, I have nothing to fight
for once!
Learning to accept
you're you and I am just me too
no perfect picture to eschew
just me and you
in my childhood skin
overgrown in my undies and too thin chin
drunk again
Numbing my brain
is my only refrain
the moment I realize there's no light
blot out the night!
Really, I have nothing to fight
for once!
Learning to accept
you're you and I am just me too
no perfect picture to eschew
just me and you
