Finally
I was at the park the other day
when the wind whispered to me
heres what it had to say:
Your heart is now mended, you may go and be at peace
Take a bow, have a smile and let out a sigh of relief
That part of your life is over, never really taking place
Stretch out your mind as far as you can, you now finally have the space
Take in all the rain and down the rays of the sun
You and him were never meant to be, another man is your number one
Let it all go and let me carry it all away
Theres nothing left for you there, no reason for you to stay
Light it on fire, theres no more sting from the burn
When I carry the ashes his way, he will realize its now his turn
Its time to say farewell to what could never have been
Finally letting it go to sail away with the wind
when the wind whispered to me
heres what it had to say:
Your heart is now mended, you may go and be at peace
Take a bow, have a smile and let out a sigh of relief
That part of your life is over, never really taking place
Stretch out your mind as far as you can, you now finally have the space
Take in all the rain and down the rays of the sun
You and him were never meant to be, another man is your number one
Let it all go and let me carry it all away
Theres nothing left for you there, no reason for you to stay
Light it on fire, theres no more sting from the burn

Finally letting it go to sail away with the wind
