Children of  Tanzania

Children of Tanzania:

Tonight there is a light burning dimly in an innocent child’s lonely scared hungry eye’s
Her dreams were never developed, because she never slept long enough, to have one
Her body is hurting, and aching, though she is only a child, her body works like she is a woman
She does what she needs to, just to survive
She doesn’t have any expectations; she just takes what she is given
Her dreams, never developed because, she never slept long enough to have them
The world is such a big wealthy place, but for these children it’s a curse they are stuck to endure
The world has forgotten them, and they just do what they can to live, going unnoticed or cared for
Their parents are dying, before they are able to dry the tears that the children are crying
And there are people strong, strong, people who swept in and are doing all that they can do
On their own it’s almost impossible to, but they do what they can do, how about some help from me
And you just a little help from me and you
How can you see her and not want to hold her, I do, I want to hold her,  how can you see those eyes and pleas for a warm embrace and not want to, I do, I want to,  and then just walk away how can we walk away, while we let others use there needs to make themselves richer, how can we send money to men who do not live there or understand, how I ask you, how can we not reach out and love her, she is a child, just a child, she never did wrong in her beautiful  little life, she never had one love her, innocent  and precious  small amount of time of her struggling life how, how, can you see her and send money to men who use more than half to keep up there Hollywood house
Tonight there is a light burning dimly in an innocent child’s lonely scared hungry eye’s
Her dreams were never developed, because she never slept long enough, to have one
Her body is hurting, and aching, though she is only a child, her body works like she is a woman
She does what she needs to, just to survive
She doesn’t have any expectations; she just takes what she is given
Her dreams, never developed because, she never slept long enough to have them
The world has so many excuses I yet to hear one I can say I believe is true have you have you
Children are crying for us, children are dying for us, children are crying for us, children are fighting for us, children, their just children, there just, can’t you hear them, can’t you hear them, they are just children,

“ you beautiful sweet child you will survive, and become strong and make the world a better place for the future, the world will see you, and the world will hold you, and love you, and protect you, and in my arms I ache to hold and love you to, I take you as mine, I want to hold you in my arms and tell you your life, it will be great and your smile is deep, and your eyes keep them shinning like the stars, so  the world can navigate its way to you, please keep the light in your eyes shining, beautiful children I claim as mine”
