Always on point
She weaves magic with
Her beautiful voice
Dancing across the page
With such grace
Conjuring imagination
Flowing pirouettes
Taking poetic leaps with such ease
Into the air
She grabs metaphors by the tail
Captures lightning in a jar
A sweet tapestry of wonder
So light of foot
Tracing her steps through your mind
With her ballet of words
Ever beautiful
Sometimes such a sweet song
Though when she chooses
She sings a song
With thunder in her voice
Making you stand up and take notice

Real quick, a couple typos: pirouette, lightning. That being said... I love the imagery here. My favorite:

Obviously this poetess has inspired you, and the best thing you can do for someone like that is to write a good solid piece. You, friend, have written a good solid piece. I hope you're as proud as the poetess will be when she reads it!
