Slight Similarities
Hearts shatter
Just like ceramic dolls
When you realize
Their eyes are prettier than yours.
Eyes cloud
Just like the speeding trucks
Passing your pathetic civic
From the passenger's seat.
Hair splits
Just like a bad marriage
When the spark dies
And their hearts hurt from pretending.
Lips curl
Just like the roadkill
You knicked
And thought was a pothole.
