Mid Sentence

 You kissed me when I wasn't ready,

didn't have time to reflect the love look back;

My heart was captured unawares,

unprepared for the blood flow increases

remaining steady,

no time for tongue surrendering,

my thoughts caught napping

when they should have been writing ransom notes

about you and what you mean to me

in chapter, verse and save me song.


But quick to respond,

jumping into action with mouth watering speed

my thoughts back on the page,

falling into you once more

kiss me again and again,


I think I'm more than ready now.
