We don't always get what we want
& We don't always want what we Need
These human tendencies got me searching
for Empathy along with a natural remedy.
To cure my Longing Soul,
I've been like this since my 12th birthday took It's toll.
I see relationships everyday & refuse to succumb to the standard of being Disconnected,
lacking genuinity of Love & the ability to understand it.
Emotions replaced by Emoji's..mistaken for Lust,
false trust & communication is the key to the door slammed shut.
Whatever anyone feels It's even harder to admit,
maybe the pain in the world made people numb & they OD'd off the shit.
It's like they're scared of Love as a possibility..
It can't be defined cause everybody sees it different in they're mind.
To some it doesn't even exist,
others breathe it & would be lifeless with a statement like this.
I'm not heartless maybe I'm just learning to use my heart less!
It's becoming the reality of my developing Mentality.
Deciphering the intuition of my heart i want to lend...
or settling for the overgrowing trend.....
