You're A Flower
A flower spends a lot of time in the dirt
Waiting to peek from the soil to see the sunlight
Once it does
Everyone can enjoy their colour
It adds some life to the most abandoned houses
I often think of you as a flower
You spent so much time shying away from everyone
You don't realize how much of you there is to enjoy
You deprive everyone of your beautiful soul
You need to remember
That flowers are never judged on their colour
Or size
You need to allow yourself to break free from the soil
And breathe the fresh air
And feel the sunlight beaming on your face
Waiting to peek from the soil to see the sunlight
Once it does
Everyone can enjoy their colour
It adds some life to the most abandoned houses
I often think of you as a flower
You spent so much time shying away from everyone
You don't realize how much of you there is to enjoy
You deprive everyone of your beautiful soul
You need to remember
That flowers are never judged on their colour
Or size
You need to allow yourself to break free from the soil
And breathe the fresh air
And feel the sunlight beaming on your face
