Freshly carved wounds

Kill me.
Let the light shine it's radiance
And make me fade away.
Let the water rain down,
And snuff me out,
Like the fire I am.

I won't sing songs,
I'll stay silent as you kill me slowly.
I'll sink like the sands
Beneath your tired feet,
As you struggle to gain proper balance.
I have only the wind and the leaves,
To bring my sanctuary.

No glimmer of hope shines
As these shadows,
Try their best to capture my tears,
That are cascading down these eyes.
No one can save me In this realm.

I'm drowning in a sea of my own despair
A losing struggle
As I try my hardest to climb to the top.
Please just let me swallow my last breath,
And hold it in forever.
