Time-Traveling Dilema
as though it were forbidden,
to enter certain thoughts
and feelings of size
you must find,
someone who corresponds
to your exact perception of depths
someone in that other time,
or someone, farther than light, elsewhere;
you must attach and borrow their momentum
otherwise it will feel complexingly,
as being an adult suddenly turned child
or a human turned suddenly animal,
and you may lose the persuasion to return
how you do this
i do not yet know,
but there are ways to try
there will be hurdles to surpass:
that every reality is nonsense,
that the body has rules and would die
but i’m certain you will find them,
i’m certain there will be those as mirrors,
those as the protection of your own thoughts
i’m certain there will be a Remembrance,
to bring you back to yourself,
the one you started with.
