Date Night

I walk down the street with my head held high. My heart skips a beat and my feet seem to not even touch the ground. I arrive at her door and flatten my vest and long sleeved shirt. I take a deep breath before knocking. She answers the door and I'm stunned at her beauty. Her jeans and t-shirt although simple accent her marvelously. I hold my elbow out so she can lock her arm with mine in an old fashioned way. "My lady." We start on our way to watch the sunset. Its beauty; magenta, violet, and amber, can't even compare to her. When the crest of the sun dips below the horizon she sighs I know she doesn't want to go home. I stand up brushing myself off and move to the edge of the cliff. "What are you doing?"  She asks worried. A flying carpet then floats up and I step on and hold out my hand."Want to go on an adventure?" She takes my hand and I hold her tight. I pull out a dagger and stab the carpet. We begin to plummet spiraling down, we pass through the ground and fall for a few seconds before crashing on a floating piece of land that is close to ten feet by ten feet. On this chunk of dirt grows black orchids, lilies, and snapdragons. "Our first stop my lady." I bow with my hand out. I pick a hand full of the flowers and let their aroma fill my nose. I then throw them into the air and quickly draw two pistols. I shoot the flowers till they're dust. The dust spins violently in the the air till it forms a tiara and falls on her head. I take her and and we move to the edge and I ask, "Are you ready?" "Yes." We simultaneously jump and a hole opens under our feet. We land in a room filled ice cream that never melts even in the most tropical environments. The ice cream glows with colors never seen before. It weighs less than air, tastes like what you're craving, provides nutrients and you never put on weight. We eat till we grow restless. I take her hand and start walking up the wall. We walk what seems like a circle around the room but were now under water. We don't need air and were not wet. Tiny lights float to us and begin dancing around us. More creatures join us. Some familiar, dolphins and hippocampi, others never before imagined. "Here you can have anything." I summon a green ball that emits a teal aura. "Touch it." I say encouraging her. She does and the ball shoots of and crashes into the ocean floor. A gothic fortress begins building itself in front of our eyes. The fortress as a modern spin on it. Theres a never ending buffet table and a jukebox that as every song you like but forgot the name. Theres a giant bed, big enough for ten people to sleep comfortably, floating in the air. The bed fluidly moves above our heads. I place my hands on her hips and toss her into the air and she gracefully twirls down onto the bed. A soft song begins to play and i jump up to the bed. The bed is as soft as you'd imagine a cloud to be and it changes temperature at will. All the foods were craving float of the buffet to us. A pizza with all our fav toppings appears it even as some we don't know but instantly love. "Let me know when you're ready to leave ill show you something wonderful, but it could never compare to you." "Lets explore." She says. We sink into the bed and theres nothing but black. I pull her close and tight our bodies comfort each other. Theres a bright explosion of pink purple orange and teal. The dust forms a heart. More explosions create more shapes. "Fireworks using stars." I explain. Hearts skulls and other shapes light up our personal section of space. She leans over and kisses my lips. I kiss her back passionately causing massive explosions. Stardust brushes across our faces while our lips are interlocked. Our kiss ends when were transported inside a carriage being pulled by unicorns made of organic steel. The unicorns take us soaring through buildings and obstacles. The carriage is made of black ivory trimmed with gold. The inside seems impossibly large. I grab her a drink from the bar. Its a silver liquid and she takes it willingly. I sit back and wrap my arm around her shoulder and rest my foot on my knee. The drink induces euphoria and everything is intensified. We stop in a study with millions of books. We read for hours absorbing every bit of knowledge available. We then travel to a forest where the trees grow for miles. The trees are bare and smooth. A tree in front of us grows branches before our eyes and they creates a spiraling staircase. Theres a house at the end and it’s built into the tree. We enter and everyone inside is naked but it doesn't feel wrong. They greet us with smiles and a nod. We experience an emotion like no other. Theres no judgement hate or disgust. It just feels natural and welcoming. A door appears behind us. We enter into a cave with no visible ceiling. There’s gems and riches in mounds. An immense serpent with wings and four legs invites us to take what we please. the serpent then gives us a ride to an ever extending meadow of golden wheat. The wheat comes to our waist but does not poke us or make us itch. Behind us is the same sight only covered in powdery snow. Theres a tree in the middle where the plain divides. We lay down under its shade. As we lay we look up into the sky, the deepest of blues, the clouds literally create forms for us to look at. I scoot close to her and prop myself up on my elbow. We hold each other till the sun sets. The crest of the sun bids us farewell beyond the horizon.
