Thought vs Stone
Sure you can squint your eyes,
And split a stone into more space than weight;
So you think it has no strength,
That nothing does...
But look at your mind,
Surely the stones are still stronger
Than the proceeding cohesion of your thoughts;
Are you really so kept together?
Your mind could flip you out in an instant,
And you will be a sputtering of flimsy groping...
Fling, fling, fling,
And you are flung...
But the stones stay put.
So verily, what is the more stronger?
Your mind?
Or the surrounding universe?

So this begins the next phase of my works. It follows a two and a half year period at a particular apartment I was living at in a small town out in the country. I quit almost everything and shut as much of the world out as possible, going down to the last penny and then thousands into the last cash advances and then working on farms for food and so on...
I'm really excited to begin posting from this period, but it's going to be difficult. Whereas in the last phase, I just had to sift through some 150 pages or so, here I will have to go through several thousand...
I also recorded many songs then, so perhaps in a short bit I'll get some guitar tunes going for you good people...

Well, down here in "Sweet Home Alabama" My mental aptitude has been compared to a rock but after reading your words of wisdom I feel much better now. Thank You Sir

Nothing wrong with a mind being compared to a rock, rocks are pretty endurant and have been around as much as the universe - better to have the mind compared to a rock than a chicken sandwich.
Then again, I suppose The Mind has been around just a tad more than the universe, so maybe the thought does win over the stone...
