she writes a lonely ode
"I want to do things so wild with you that I
don't know how to say them." Anais Nin
(she doesn't know I watch her,
when she writes)
I was alone, until we found each other.
I have always been different from others,
in my yearning that constantly drives me
to discover the wonders of this blooming world,
the riches to be taken, absorbed, to love, and
be loved in return. and your passion reflects
my own, your pursuit of the extraordinary, your
vitality and vibrancy in loving, and in making love.
when we are apart, my longing obliterates my other
passions, until I can neither read nor write, nor even
so much as bake bread. and I cannot understand
those who are able to come to a full stop, to eat,
and to sleep. even in sleep, I am running;
I am running to you.
(I read her words and I smile,
but only to myself)

Masterfully ink. Such raw passion spilling like blood from the words, saturating the page with dying yearning.

Re: she writes a lonely ode
that moment when all becomes clear..just for once never to return again..that spark!! like the whole hidden mysteries of life of self reveals in a flash
in your words,
"and your passion reflects
my own, your pursuit of the extraordinary, your
vitality and vibrancy in loving, and in making love"
beautiful tribute to each lonely searching soul's inspiring spark we rarely find..n of course, Anais Nin!
juz curious about the spacing there..before second stanza..
thanxx fr the read JF, another great pen.

Ahhhh JohnFeddeler, luv :-* ~
This poem speaks deeply to me, to my soul, but Anais Nin has always spoken to me. In high school, I had a friend who introduced me to Nin's writings; they were revelatory, life-altering in scope.
It is possible to not know the fullness of one's self and to, perhaps, require another's assistance to discover one's depth and breadth, all that one is, all who one could be, especially sensually, most especially for women.
Perhaps, I should not have admitted that, but I feel it is true nonetheless.
Thank you for sharing this poem with me and reminding me of my inherent feeling of connection with Anais once again. :-*
