Being Alien

Turning off her bedroom light
She sits, she crys
Like every night
She's an alien

He walks down an empty street
he looks, around
No one to meet
he's an alien

they're an alien

she looks out the window pane
a slight reflection half insane
he walks within the freezing rain
the fridgid air, it numbs the pain

of being alien

the rain pours down like her teary eyes
he sings his heart out to the night
hearing his soul's heart outside
she looks, and sees to her suprise

it's an alien

well she starts calling out to him
asking him to please come in
but what he hears is a broken heart to mend

well he walks into that house as she
stares, within his eyes
telling their own story like
constelations in the skys

well she soothes his heart with warm green tea
and every sip he tastes his destiny
he places a hand upon her staind cheek
she had never felt this weak

she pours her heart out a total stranger
and he forgets every single ounce of anger

cause being alien had never felt so right
as it did within that winter night
hes an alien

well that is how the story goes
will it end? what happens next?
well no one knows

she's an alien

they are alien...
