Creed of brothers

Clock arms rewind on this night
Within the light of heavenly write
Let me bask in my former glory
Again to be in that good ol' story.

There we stood with the same foes
Brothers dealt with the same blows
We wore the great sun as our capes
And still, obscure to common eyes.

We played a tune fiddled on our own.
Individually, all were written on stone;
Gleeful as a tune for a joyful jig
And some-as dreary as a mournful dig.

We free-spirited souls drunk from the same cup
A sip is nothing and one is never enough.
We held it with strength, we held it with passion!
This is what we used as our falchion.
