Diamond
She heard the cries of her mother and only frowned,
Once again he has made her cry but that shouldn’t put her down.
He isn’t worth anything; he isn’t even a man,
He doesn’t care, he doesn’t even understand.
He treats her as if she was a dog,
All locked up…. doesn’t he realize she’s fragile?... she’s like a glass doll…
It’s like he throws her around again and again,
Not caring if her life would one day come to an end.
A beautiful diamond thrown away….
When she starts to shine… that would be her day.
She has to realize that she can go on without him there….
Truthfully…. We all know he doesn’t care….
But she says she loves him… that that is her weakness…
To love… who knew it would bring her such darkness
