blindness knows no colors

We could close our eyes
on the ugliness of the world
and pretend nothing...
But the blindness
does not know the real colors
only imaginary shades.


Light and color are oddities
in the universe
of our existence,
we enjoy their presence
but we are
overwhelmed by the darkness,
wrapped in a grim reality.

There is a dark side in us
and we have to accept it,
if we aspire to survive
in a sort of equilibrium.

We could close our eyes
on the ugliness of the world
and pretend nothing...
But the blindness
does not know the real colors
only imaginary shades.
