What Purpose Life?
When in my mind
I find, it takes me to 'that place'
I frequently visit... yet feel displaced
I lift my eyes
toward the clear of blue sky
Then I can't help
but ask my lord, "oh why..."
what purpose...
for which I exist
what purpose...
am I about to miss
Intently I listen,
as sweet breezes so gentle,
in layered mist...
spirit replenish
I need this
What purpose...
questions asked
but see, the answers
are not all clear...
the clock
keeps ticking, and so I fear
the purpose...
that I live, could go on
til my next lifetime
and maybe it's the answer
to where I really belong...

Do I detect a bit of Buddhist influence at the end? Still pondering the music, this write strikes some of the same concerns as Bonnie Raitt's "Nick Of Time". (she happens to be one of my favorite artists of all time)

I have a great respect for elements in all religions but no I'm NOT a Buddhist, just a piece that 'came' to me n I had to ink it out :) thanks bro. Always n yea Bonnie Raitt is awesome :)

I think you touch on a situation we all endure: questioning the reason for our existence and looking for signs that might give us direction in life. I like it.

Uncommon to think for a moment like
"What does it all mean"
And while i definitely dint have the answer....maybe were not sypose to know and as servants to a higher existence we're put here to help within the moment. ....

Connections... The sweetest ones are in real time. But people can connect even after death - look how many live on in legend. It's about connecting on the authentic level.
