water as thick as blood

All my life i have been told the same
Blood is thicker then water
Blood is never at blame
But what happens when blood clots
And oxygen can't flow
But clear water lifts you through
The blood is at wrong
Not all times but some
Say what you can of water
But water may be the one
The one that is there
When blood cannot
And the one that saves you
When you cannot
I am not saying that water is more important then blood
But what if you could only have one
Blood can only keep you alive for so long
But without water ilfe is done
Water alone is also wrong
It can't save you
You cannot live on
So all i can say
Is what if we are wrong
