Berating you, degrading you
Bills due
Bosses, employees with nasty attitudes
But I miss you
Your smell, your touch
Embrace
Our free play
On the couch at my house
We drink, laugh, and be merry
Dreams of riding off in our fairy tale carriage
I miss you
Like a part of me
My energy
I am not lost without you
I am still completely me
But it hurts to know that you can’t see me
You’re far away
Spiritually
Mentally
My heart longs for our intimacy
My soul mate
Yet it’s not too late
To forge again
Our understanding
