A peculiar people
The wretched years of a wretch, like me, like you
Produce the most amazing grace
Who would you be, had it not been, for your misery?
Would you be half the woman you are, without your scars?
Would your light shine, had you not walked in darkness?
Would you understand grace, without your mistakes?

True insight.
The troubles that
we go through
are part of what
makes us.
How we overcome
is the other part.

...without his grace and mercy, we would surely perish. We need misery, darkness, trials and tribulations,.... to trust in our faith.
Love this, Grace! Xo

A thought provoking conundrum that I must answer with a "NO". We have to travel such hard roads to become better people; stronger people. Good write.

Yes indeed we must walk through some hard times to learn. For some of us,(me) it's the best teacher.
