when it all started
I saw you.. and I knew
I had to know you
I had to know that story
The dark and the ugly
The heartbreakingly beautiful.
Everything that would hurt me
I had to know.
You found me
I talked to you
I told you a lot about me
I knew one day that we would meet.
That I would break all laws of nature to do so
And one day I did find you.
I traveled far and wide
And I landed on your door step
My arms wide open
And a smile on my face.
You looked at me with no doubt
You knew who I was.
And your arms were to wide open
There was a warm embrace
And everything was alright in the world
For that moment anyway
The world seemed to stop
All that was left was us
You invited me in
There was tea being made
So we sat and had tea
We talked like old friends
We talked like lovers
We talked like no one else could
We hugged once again
We were to meet up later that night
A dinner for two
Just you and me
That night I would kiss you
That night I would love you
And that night would be a wondrous night
I had to know you
I had to know that story
The dark and the ugly
The heartbreakingly beautiful.
Everything that would hurt me
I had to know.
You found me
I talked to you
I told you a lot about me
