Fleeting breathlessness

Hello
Can you see me

I'm the one with hurried impatience

The lady in view
You notice , some place
And when you see her again
You remember her face

For I  had those vacant dark eyes
When you looked deep within them
You felt criminalised
Arrested your thoughts
I captured your senses
Then walked away without
Even realising

That I had shook you
Crippled your core

Left you standing there
Wanting to capture
Just a little more

As you watch the back of me
i sashayed away
You knew you were caught
On this ...what was an ..... Ordinary day

Imagine if you stopped me
Just made me aware
Imagine if you smelled me... My
Fragrance in the air

Imagine if I  knew
That i stopped your breath
That the second you saw me
You were short of air

Even though im kinda plain looking
You saw something else there

And imagine if you new
That day I was crying inside

And that if i noticed your stare
And the vast lack of air
It May have given me
reason to smile

I walked away still unawares
And less worth my own while

Hello can you see me

I'm the man dressed in blue
I Was looking straight at you

I saw you in your floral dress
Your hair long like a halo
And when you raised your head
Your eyes stood there
Drawing me in
The darkness
Making my breath short
I'd stopped in my tracks
Making my chest pound
Did you notice that ?

Surely you could feel my heart
And the thumping
The lack of the air
My legs simply stopping
Me in a crowd just standing there

And time felt like it stood still
But it was seconds and you turned away
Me looking after you .... Frozen

And as I watched you sashay away

I thought
Oh my
What an extraordinary day
